This is us

In September 2022, Villa Luna Kaarst Commerhof moved into a modular facility at the Bauhof. The premises are bright, spacious and are complemented by a 612sqm outdoor area. Here is plenty of space to discover the world, to romp and play. The beautiful Vorster Forest is nearby and we are looking forward to exploring it with the children.
The English language is taught to the children at Villa Luna Kaarst Commerhof by our own immersion specialist. This specialist speaks only English with the children and their team colleagues, so that the children are immersed in a so-called language bath.
Loving care and support by a team with different educational backgrounds is just as important to us as a wholesome, healthy diet.

The move to the final daycare building, which is currently still in the planning stage and is being built in Kaarst-Holzbüttgen at Commerhof, is expected to take place in the in the first quarter of 2025. The modern new building will offer space for five groups.

Sufficient parking spaces are available at the Bauhof.
We look forward to welcoming your child to our bilingual daycare center soon!

- Was gehört zu deinem Ich?

🇬🇧 The question of "who I am" is a question that occupies people throughout their lives. Only when I know who I am can I meet the other and open up the world to myself. Children gather new experiences every day, they build relationships, they make decisions and learn to assert themselves in relation to others. It is therefore a matter of recognising and determining one's own identity.

The pre-school children of our day-care centre met to philosophise about this:
- What belongs to the self?
- What does the/your "I" look like?
- Where and how do I live?
- What makes me different from another me?
After our discussion, the children had the task of painting their realisation in a body silhouette. To do this, each child lay down on a large sheet of paper and another child drew the outline of the body. In the silhouette, the children drew everything that they thought belonged to their "self".
The different silhouettes express the uniqueness of each child.
