Welcome at Villa Luna: your day care centre in Hamburg’s healthiest building!

In August 2026, our bilingual day care centre (German/English) will open in the Elbbrückenquartier district of Hamburg’s HafenCity. It is part of the “Moringa Hamburg” project, a co-living construction concept by the renowned Landmarken AG, which consistently focuses on resource conservation, efficiency, and recyclability. For example, only natural, ecologically sound materials are used in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle® design concept: the best for the environment… and for your child! The building will also be landscaped with lots of plants, so that we can give back to the property the part of nature that we took away during construction.

● Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
● Private hour booking available in addition to the voucher.
● Closed only between Christmas and New Year and on 3 other days.

Who we are

Your child(ren) can look forward to spacious, bright rooms spread over two floors (ground floor and first floor), as well as an imaginative outdoor area that invites them to play, discover, and feel at home.

Loving care and support from a team with different educational backgrounds is just as important to us as fresh, wholesome, healthy meals from our own kitchen. Our bilingual concept (German/English) is based on the immersion method, which means that each group has an English-speaking member of staff. This person speaks exclusively English with the children, colleagues, and parents.

What we offer

The group forms
At Villa Luna Hamburg HafenCity, we care for up to 80 children aged between 4 months and school age. We have 5 groups for this purpose.
● 3 nursery groups for children aged between 4 months and 3 years
● 2 elementary groups for children aged between 3 and 6 years
