Monday to Friday: 7-16 o’clock
Closing days only between Christmas and New Year, two weeks during the summer vacations and four other days.

Who we are
In summer 2023, our bilingual day care centre will open in Dortmund’s city centre, located in the modernised new Health House. Spacious, bright and modern rooms will be created on 978 m², which together with the 725 m² outdoor area will offer plenty of space for playing, learning and discovering.
In order to create a family atmosphere in which the children feel comfortable and can develop their talents, we attach great importance to furnishing the new building with great attention to detail. Loving care and guidance by a team with different educational backgrounds is just as important to us as a wholesome, healthy diet. Our bilingual concept (German/English) is based on the immersion method, which means that at least one English-speaking specialist is part of the nursery staff. This person speaks English exclusively with the children, colleagues and parents.

What we offer
The group forms
At Villa Luna Dortmund, we care for children from the age of 4 months until they start school. We have 5 groups for this purpose:
● Two groups for children aged 4 months to 3 years
● One group for children aged 2 to 6 years
● Two groups for children aged 3 to 6 years
Our colourful everyday life*:
● Bilingual care based on the immersion principle with one English-speaking team member per group.
● Variety of physical activity offerings.
● Regional, seasonal and wholesome meals freshly prepared in our house.

WHAT’S THE NEWS?
Zur Einstimmung auf ihre Kita-Zeit wird die Kinder in den nächsten Tagen ganz besondere Post erreichen. Im Sinne der Partizipation darf nun jedes Kind seine Stimme für den Namen seiner Kita-Gruppe abgeben. Die Vorschläge orientieren sich dabei an verschiedenen Himmelskörpern, da auch die Villa Luna nach einem solchen benannt ist. Wir hoffen, ihr habt viel Spaß damit und sind ganz gespannt auf die Wahl-Ergebnisse!

To increase their anticipation, the children will receive some very special mail the next few days. In the spirit of participation, each child may now cast his/her vote for the name of his/her daycare group. The suggestions are based on different celestial bodies, since Villa Luna is also named after one of them. We hope you enjoy it and are looking forward to the election results!
