PARENTS’ ACTION: VORSTER FOREST HUT HAS BEEN BEAUTIFIED
Together with the Neusser Handicraft Association and two other day-care centres, the Vorster forest hut was beautified. For this purpose, we received a 1-metre wooden fox from the crafts association. In a parents’ action, two fathers and several children nailed the wooden fox with crown caps and then painted and decorated it.
Now the forest hut in Vorst shines in new splendour and our wooden fox has found a nice place. Many thanks to the two fathers who actively supported us in this project!
OUR NEW PREMISES AT ST.-EUSTACHIUS-PLATZ
Kindergarten life has started and we already feel very comfortable in our new premises.
OUR FIRST PRESCHOOL SLEEPOVER
On 06/15/2022 our first preschool sleepover took place in Kaarst Vorst. At 18:00 all preschoolers met at the daycare centre. Together with the educator, we set up our sleeping places with pillows, sleeping bags and cuddly toys. Delicious pizza was waiting for us in the garden. Some splashed around in the pool, while the others eagerly started grilling marshmallows over our campfire. As dusk began to fall, our gym was turned into a movie theater. We darkened the room, laid out mats, pillows, and blankets everywhere, and settled in with popcorn and chips to watch “Madagascar 2“.
After the movie, equipped with flashlights, we set out for a night hike in the Vorster forest. On the dark path, we repeatedly discovered luminous bracelets that led us to a hidden treasure. When we arrived back, we all got ready for bed together. Everyone snuggled into their blankets and sleeping bags and listened intently to a beautiful bedtime story.
The next morning, after breakfast, all the preschoolers were picked up by their parents with beaming smiles and full of pride. It was a great sleepover that we will remember for a long time.
OUR SPRING PARTY 2022
On 05/21/2022, all of our families were invited to join us in welcoming spring with a delicious buffet and some exciting activities for young and old. At 14:30 we started in our daycare with a cozy get-together in our garden. While the adults devoted themselves to the social part, the children had the opportunity to have their faces painted, to practice their marksmanship by throwing cans or to play together in the sandbox.
After some time, we were shocked to discover that two of our educators had been kidnapped… by none other than the robber “Räuber Hotzenplotz”. He told us that we could find the missing teachers in the forest of Vorst, but that we should hurry, otherwise it would be impossible for us to find them again. And so we set off as quickly as possible with the entire team into the forest and kept our eyes and ears open. Luckily, the robber’s heavy sack seemed to have a hole in it, because we kept finding white sparkling pebbles along the way, which actually led us to the two missing people. Back at the daycare center, everyone, big and small, got a delicious ice cream as a reward.
We all had a lot of fun and were very happy that more than 30 families came to our party! 🙂
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS AT ST-EUSTACHIUS-PLATZ
Wow, things are moving forward! We are very happy to follow the construction progress at St-Eustachius-Platz. The Kaarst Villa Luna children also like to make a detour to the construction site on their walks and observe the completion of the building into which they will move from August.

Yay! We are happy to already show you the first photos of the future daycare center in Kaarst Vorst. Our pictures show the premises where Kaarst Villa Luna will be at home until July 2022. Please note that the pictured furnishings belong to the previous tenant.
