EXERCISE AND NUTRITION

Exercise feeds body, mind and soul. Exercise and sports are staples of kindergarten life. So children need room to move which we provide with our garden, the gym and the park next door. Our children big and small can blow off steam there. They can climb, swing, stage races on ride-on toys and play football. They can let their imagination run wild when dancing or designing a physical play area.

Children under 3 tend to play by themselves, but older children have the opportunity to take part in structured physical activities. First there is a warm-up session, and then the children play a movement game or participate in structured exercise. At the end of the gym lesson, we read a relaxing story to the children.
