I successfully completed my training as a state-certified educator in June 2023. Before my training, I was able to complete an internship in the Jewish-Orthodox community in Cologne and subsequently volunteered there, which gave me a further perspective on cultural diversity. Besides my mother tongue German, I studied English and Spanish at school. Villa Luna particularly appealed to me because of its diverse bilingual pedagogical concept and its appreciative attitude towards the children and their individual needs. Working with children gives me great pleasure. Children have a natural curiosity and openness. Through my work, I want to support them in discovering and developing their talents, accompany them on their individual educational path and support them in their personal development.

I completed my training as a state-certified educator in the summer of 2019. In addition to the practical work at Villa Luna, I am currently studying social management at a distance learning university. I enjoy the pedagogical work in the U3 area the most and I am very happy to accompany and support the children and their families in Villa Luna on their way.

I was born in the British Virgin Islands, which is located in the Caribbean. I recently moved to Köln to challenge myself and learn German. Back in the Caribbean I taught swimming to adults and children. My hobbies range from playing the guitar to jogging to many other competitive sports. I look forward to meeting you all and working together to ensure the best possible experience for your children.

At the moment, I am training to be an educator. The Villa Luna day care centre offers me the opportunity to learn a lot about working with children. I really enjoy working with the children in the U3 area. I am up for any kind of fun and very open to trying out new things. The most important thing for me is that the children have fun and learn something. I look forward to coming back to Villa Luna every week and laughing, learning and discovering together with the children.

I am 46 years old, a graduate chemist (studied at RWTH-Aachen), married and have two daughters aged 10 and 14. For eight years, Villa Luna children in Aachen and Düsseldorf have been discovering mainly inanimate nature in my courses. I am very excited to be able to introduce children to everyday phenomena in simple experiments in Cologne as well!

Since 2018, I have already been part of the team at Villa Luna Cologne. In March 2022, I will finish my studies with a Bachelor of Arts and the state recognition as a social pedagogue. I knew even before my studies that working with people and especially with children is my calling. Especially the work in the U3 area fulfills me and so I am happy to work in such a diverse and colorful daycare center on the development of the children.
