Who we are
From August 2021, our bilingual daycare center (German/English) will open its doors in beautiful Cologne Raderthal. With 500sqm of indoor and 800sqm of outdoor space, we offer the children here plenty of room to play, develop and discover their environment.
The bright, friendly rooms are spacious and are furnished with a great deal of professional expertise, so that the children can be lovingly cared for and individually supported in a family atmosphere.
Not only the Cologne Volksgarten, but also the nearby cultural institutions and other green spaces invite you to exciting excursions.
You can reach us easily via the nearby bus and train connections. In addition, you will find several parking spaces directly at the house.

What we offer
The group forms
At Villa Luna Cologne Raderthal, we care for up to 35 children from the age of 4 months until they start school. We have 2.5 groups for this purpose:
● One and a half T2 groups for children aged 4 months to 3 years.
● One T3 group for children aged 3-6 years.
Our colourful everyday life*:
● Bilingual care based on the immersion principle with one English-speaking team member per group.
● High childcare ratio.
● Natural science program with a graduate chemist. Musical and artistic offers.
● Variety of physical activity offerings.
● Regional, seasonal and wholesome meals freshly prepared in our house.

WHAT’S THE NEWS?
In der Sommerzeit locken die verschiedensten Früchte, die man vielfältig verarbeiten kann, am besten aber wandern sie direkt frisch (gewaschen) vom Feld/ Garten/ Strauch in den Mund.
Wir eröffnen das KiTa-Jahr sommerlich light mit 14 Beerentörtchen (groß und mittelgroß) für alle Kinder der Einrichtung: auf leichten Bisquitböden, bestrichen mit Agavensaft-Vanillepudding, natürlich frisch hergestellt, werden halbierte Erdbeeren, Himbeeren und Heidelbeeren garniert - für einen Einstieg in die erste Woche machen das Naschen und Verzieren ohnehin den größten Spaß!
Uwe freut sich gemeinsam mit Christina über den jungen Nachwuchs – und ist sich sicher: Sollte er mal ausfallen, bekommen die Kinder alles locker in den Griff!

In the summertime, a wide variety of fruits are available, which can be but it's best to eat them fresh (washed) straight from the field/garden/shrub.
We open the daycare centre year summer-light with 14 berry tarts (large and medium-sized) for all the children in the centre: on light sponge bases, with agave juice vanilla pudding, freshly made of course, garnished with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries - for a start to the first week, snacking and decorating are the most fun!
Together with Christina, Uwe is delighted with the young offspring - and is sure that if he ever fails, the children will easily get everything under control!

Mit unserer Lesenacht beenden wir unser Kitajahr und verabschieden die Vorschulkinder in den Ernst des Lebens. Gemeinsam mit 14 Kindern, Annika, Bailey, Christina und Shirin wird bis in die Nacht geschmökert, gespielt, gemalt und schließlich noch eine Taschenlampentour im Dunkeln unternommen. Nach einem persischen Abendessen rundet eine Kinovorstellung mit Popcorn und Marshmallows den späten Abend (Nacht) ab. Schön war es!
Wir wünschen an dieser Stelle allen einen wunderschönen Sommer!☀️⛱️
Our reading night marks the end of our nursery year and bids farewell to the pre-school children as they embark on the serious side of life. Together with 14 children, Annika, Bailey, Christina and Shirin, we read, played, painted and finally went on a torchlight tour in the dark into the night. After a Persian dinner, a movie show with popcorn and marshmallows rounds off the late evening (night).
It was great!

Wir entdecken die Unterschiede und Geheimnisse rund um die Bienenwelt, erhalten jede Menge Info über die Bienenkönigin und ihr Volk, die Berufe der Arbeitsbiene, das Obstgeheimnis und was die Bienen damit zu tun haben, den geheimnisvollen Bienentanz und die Wabe im Bau.

Wasp, bumblebee or bee🐝?
We discover the differences and secrets of the bee world, get lots of information about the queen bee and her colony, the professions of the worker bee, the fruit secret and what the bees have to do with it, the mysterious bee dance and the honeycomb in the hive.
Did you know that a bee colony flies the equivalent of 3 times around the world for 1 large jar of honey (500mg)? Crazy, isn't it!
Now we appreciate the honey bread in the morning even more!🍯🍞
