Who we are
From August 2021, our bilingual daycare center (German/English) will open its doors in beautiful Cologne Raderthal. With 500sqm of indoor and 800sqm of outdoor space, we offer the children here plenty of room to play, develop and discover their environment.
The bright, friendly rooms are spacious and are furnished with a great deal of professional expertise, so that the children can be lovingly cared for and individually supported in a family atmosphere.
Not only the Cologne Volksgarten, but also the nearby cultural institutions and other green spaces invite you to exciting excursions.
You can reach us easily via the nearby bus and train connections. In addition, you will find several parking spaces directly at the house.

What we offer
The group forms
At Villa Luna Cologne Raderthal, we care for up to 40 children from the age of 4 months until they start school. We have 2.5 groups for this purpose:
● One and a half T2 groups for children aged 4 months to 3 years.
● One T3 group for children aged 3-6 years.
Our colourful everyday life*:
● Bilingual care based on the immersion principle with one English-speaking team member per group.
● High childcare ratio.
● Natural science program with a graduate chemist. Musical and artistic offers.
● Variety of physical activity offerings.
● Regional, seasonal and wholesome meals freshly prepared in our house.

Bei strahlendem Frühlingswetter feierten Kinder, Familien und das Team unserer Kita ein buntes Frühlingsfest. Die Einrichtung war liebevoll mit Blumen und frischen Farben geschmückt. Mit Spielen, Bastelangeboten und vielen fröhlichen Begegnungen wurde der Ausklang des Frühlings gefeiert und gleichzeitig der nahende Sommer willkommen geheißen.
Mit viel Herz hat parallel die Verabschiedung unserer Kita-Leitung Christina im Juni stattgefunden. Gemeinsam blicken wir auf viele Jahre engagierter vertrauensvoller Arbeit, herzlicher Begleitung und wertvoller Spuren für Kinder, Familien und Mitarbeitende zurück. In persönlichen Worten und kleinen Überraschungen wurde Dankbarkeit und Wertschätzung für ihr großes Engagement und ihre Verbundenheit mit unserer Kita zum Ausdruck gebracht.
Die Kinder verabschiedeten sich schon am Vormittag liebevoll und mit guten Wünschen. Auch Eltern und Kolleginnen und Kollegen nutzten die Gelegenheit, ihre Wertschätzung auszusprechen und viele schöne Erinnerungen zu teilen.
Beim gemeinsamen Blumenkranzbinden, buntem Kinderschminken, Plantschen im Pool, Dosen werfen, Bemalen von kleinen Beuteln, aber auch beim Ertasten von Gegenständen in unserer Fühlbox, dem köstlichen Buffet mit vielfältigen, mitgebrachten Speisen der Familien, selbstgemachten Leckereien und schmackhaften Würstchen vom Grill konnten wir so ein buntes Miteinander mit wertvollen Gesprächen feiern.
Zum Abschluss ließen wir Ballons mit guten Wünschen gen Himmel steigen und lauschten begeistert dem ukrainischen 🇺🇦 Chor, der uns mit fröhlicher Musik 🎶 und stimmungsvollen Liedern den Tag versüßt hat – auch hierfür noch einmal ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön. Щиро дякую! Jetzt kann der Sommer kommen!🌷🌼🌸
n glorious spring weather, the children, families, and our daycare team celebrated a colorful spring festival. The facility was lovingly decorated with flowers and fresh colors. Through games, arts and crafts, and many joyful interactions, we celebrated the end of spring while welcoming the approaching summer.
At the same time, we held a heartfelt farewell for our daycare center director, Christina, in June. Together, we look back on many years of dedicated, trusting work, warm support, and a lasting impact on children, families, and staff. Through personal words and small surprises, we expressed our gratitude and appreciation for her great commitment and her connection to our daycare center.
The children said their goodbyes already in the morning, affectionately and with best wishes. Parents and colleagues also took the opportunity to express their appreciation and share many fond memories.
Through making flower wreaths together, colorful face painting, splashing in the pool, playing ring toss, painting small pouches, as well as feeling objects in our sensory box, and enjoying the delicious buffet with a variety of dishes brought by the families, homemade treats, and tasty grilled sausages, we were able to celebrate this colorful gathering with meaningful conversations.
To wrap things up, we released balloons carrying our good wishes into the sky and listened with delight to the Ukrainian🇺🇦 choir, which sweetened our day with cheerful music 🎶 and atmospheric songs—once again, a heartfelt thank you for that as well. Щиро дякую! Now summer can come!🌷🌼🌸

Kurz vor der #wm2026 wollen wir uns warm laufen bzw. umfänglich vorbereiten - eben spürbar anders... 😉
