BUILDING A TEAM

Here, you will get to know our colorful team of specialists, supplementary specialists and immersion specialists. All team members have different professional and additional qualifications, each of them brings his or her personal strengths and enriches the team work, the work with the children and with the parents. We look forward to accompanying your child on its way.

Hanna Rügner
Kindergarten manager

Before training as a nursery school teacher, I studied biology (degree) and geography (teaching degree) in combination with primary school education. I have been working in the kindergarten sector for over 20 years and have been in a managerial role for several years. Every child develops uniquely and has individual needs and interests. These need to be recognised and supported so that every child can develop their potential. A successful educational partnership with the parents supports this process.

Nicole Sohn
Pedagogical staff

I come from Kaarst. In 2015 I finished my studies in social work and already in my studies I focused on child and family work. I look forward to supporting your children in their development and accompany them on their way.

Carina Holz
Pedagogical staff

After graduating from high school, I completed my training as a state-certified social assistant. During this time, my heart’s desire to support children in their development and accompany them through their first years of life was solidified. True to the motto of my life “Every day without a smile is a lost day”, I am very happy to now support the team of Villa Luna Kaarst as a supplementary staff member.

Ulrike Herz
Pedagogical staff

I come from Büttgen and am a state-certified educator. I trained at the Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik in Neuss and have since enjoyed working with children of different ages and backgrounds. According to the motto “Children are our future”, I share the concept of participation and bilingual education with Villa Luna.

Nadine Dosot
Pedagogical staff

I completed my training as a state-certified childcare worker in 2008. Building on this, I graduated as a state-certified educator in 2011. Since then, I have remained true to the profession, as working with children is very close to my heart. I want to accompany the children in discovering the world, pick up on their curiosity and their urge to explore, reflect on everyday situations and develop myself further. Every day is different when working with children! Working with people cannot be digitised away. My motto in life is “If you start everything with a smile, you will succeed in many things”.

Luca Gomann
Trainee

I live in Meerbusch and have started my training as a childcare worker at Villa Luna. My goal is to become an educator. I chose this type of Kita because I am enthusiastic about the bilingual concept and I like to speak English well myself. Furthermore, I like the action that Villa Luna has initiated – be it food sharing or the cultivation of a small supply field.

Frank Gätzschmann
Cook

After training as a chef, I worked for a long time in gastronomy and as a branch manager in food retail. For the last 10 years, I have worked in a U3 daycare centre in Düsseldorf and cooked for children and staff. I love cooking with children and stimulating their senses through smell and taste. The foundation for healthy eating and development is already laid at kindergarten age. I want to show the children that healthy food can also be tasty. My motto in life: “born to cook – doesn’t taste good, doesn’t exist”.

Britta Buhren

I was born in Kabul and have been in Germany for 28 years. I studied hydrometeorology in Kabul and had to break it off because of the war. Here in Germany, I worked for a long time in various institutions as a kitchen assistant, but also in childcare and domestic help.
